zombie update
I was bitten by I zombie. I can't believe I just said (typed) those words. I just had to leave my apartment for a second because I heard some sort of melee outside. How much more stupid could I have been, it turned out a neighbor I didn't even know bad become a zombie (and one in a rage). People didn't seem to know what to do they were just trying to pull this guy off her, I used a hatchet I had left over from cutting my Christmas tree and decapitated her. I keep reminding myself that I didn't kill anyone she was dead already (well technically undead).
I got hurt in the process I don't know whether I was scratched or bitten (most likely a gash). However the wound won't heal it's been slowly bleeding as if my blood isn't clotting and strangely it doesn't hurt that much. I feel the pain but it doesn't bother me like when your on strong opiate painkillers minus the euphoria. Something is happening to me!

Zombies-a few hours later
This is definitely happening for real. I was able to contact some people and confirm that they are alright (for now). It seems whoever is bitten by a zombie becomes undead themselves. Zombies
I can't believe what's going on! There are Zombies everywhere! I thought these things only happened in the movies. The recently deceased are rising from there graves, panic is gripping all of New York City as I write, the only reason I am even able to form cohesive thoughts is that I took a handful of Xanax and that will wear off in a few hours. On CNN there are saying this is happening worldwide, they being the few reporters that are left. What am I going to do! The city is il-equipped to deal with this, as few people here have guns or other weapons due to our strict gun-control laws (I know guns can't kill the undead but they can slow them down). I really have little to rely on except what I know from watching horror movies (thank you George C. Romero). I ransacked my apartment to find some kind of weapon and all i can find is a rubber mallet (where did I even get that?). I have nothing to protect me. At least my door is solid metal and I live on the fourth floor, I can't barricade myself in here forever.
Outside my window I can see heavy traffic and hear screaming and shrieking, it'd hard to discern what's actually happening due to all the panic. I switched to New York One, and one guy is there broadcasting (Pat Kearnen, who else?). Apparently people are fleeing Brooklyn and Queens due to the large amount of cemeteries in those boroughs. Haven't these people ever watched "Dawn of the Dead", this is not the video for "Thriller", the dead are not rising from their graves en mass, only the recently deceased have turned into Zombies (at least that's all so far). Some people are actually heading to Manhattan because there are no cemeteries there only a few graveyards. I think they're making a grave mistake if they think they can find sanctuary there. However no one really knows anything as there is obviously no precedent for this. As I said I'm just going on what I know from all the Zombie movies I watched, it may seem like a foolish source for information, but it's all I have to go on. At least telephones and major infrastructures are remaining intact. I tried frantically calling everyone I know, but I can't seem to reach anyone. I guess at this point it's every man for himself

My first post
Well this is my first post on my new blog. It's pretty spartan now, but it will quickly expand. There really is no topic today, just an introduction. Starting tomorrow posts will actually have topics. As I am new to blogging I am realizing that this is a terrible introduction, but bear with me. I can't help shake the feeling that something terrible of apocalyptic proportions will soon happen. What could that be?
